What we collect, and when

When you use the qualification chat

• A randomly generated session id and the role you pick (Founder/CEO, COO/Ops, CTO/VP Eng, Other).
• Anything you type into the chat — company name, website, revenue band, pain points, tools your team uses.
• The chat is processed by an AI provider (see Third parties).

When you book a discovery call

• Name, business email, phone number.
• Anything you type into the post-booking questionnaire (company website, pain description, tools you use).
• Booking metadata (slot, time zone, calendar invite) handled by Cal.com.

When you browse

• A theme cookie (Reading / Live) so the site remembers your preference.
• A locale cookie (en / he) so we don’t bounce you between languages.
• A lead session id cookie — only set if you start the qualification chat.
• No third-party advertising, tracking, or fingerprinting cookies as of this version.

Third parties

• Vercel hosts the site. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, request path) per Vercel’s privacy policy.
• Cal.com handles discovery-call booking. Their privacy policy applies to the booking record.
• OpenAI processes the qualification chat today (model: gpt-4o-mini). Conversation content and the session id leave our infrastructure to be processed and returned by their API.
• We are swapping the chat to Anthropic (Claude Haiku 4.5) when our API key is provisioned. This page will be updated the day we cut over.
• We do not run third-party advertising or analytics today. When we add an analytics provider (likely PostHog), we’ll name it here and respect Do-Not-Track.

Retention

• Qualified leads in active conversation: kept for the duration of the engagement plus 24 months.
• Disqualified leads (below the revenue floor): purged within 90 days unless you joined the library waitlist.
• Booking metadata: governed by Cal.com’s retention.
• Server logs: 30 days, per Vercel.

Your rights

Whether you’re in Israel, the EU, or elsewhere: you can ask us to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@verikal.ai from the address you used and we’ll act within 30 days.

Children

This is a B2B service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We’ll update this page when we add a tool, swap a provider, or otherwise change a data flow. The date at the top moves with each material change.

What this means in practice

This document is a privacy notice under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and is intended to satisfy the transparency obligations of the EU GDPR (Articles 13 and 14) for visitors in scope. Verikal acts as the data controller for the lead and booking data described above; our processors are named under Third parties. This document is not a contract. If you become a paying customer, the engagement letter we send governs.
