[ What you do ]
- 01Take a customer — an Israeli small or mid-sized business — and own it end to end.
- 02Find where their time burns, design the fix, build it, ship it, keep it running.
- 03Mostly AI: agents and automation. Some plain software, where AI is not the answer.
- 04Talk to the owner directly — scope with them, demo to them, iterate with them.
[ Who you are ]
- 01Full-stack generalist. You have shipped real things end to end, not slices of someone else’s spec.
- 02Builder, product thinker, problem solver — more than a deep specialist in one layer.
- 03Comfortable being the whole tech department for your accounts.
- 04You can sit with an owner who is not technical and come out with a scope.
[ How it works ]
- 01You are a one-person company inside our company. Your accounts are yours.
- 02In-house experts — deep AI, infra, design — back you up when you need them.
- 03Run your accounts well and there is a partner track. It is an internal path; the terms get set with Joel, not on this page.
[ What this is not ]
- ✕Not a ticket queue. Nobody hands you a finished spec.
- ✕Not a research role. What you build goes into a real business next week.
- ✕Not a specialist seat — you touch the frontend, the backend, the prompt and the customer call in the same day.
If you want a narrow lane and a tidy task list, this will annoy you.
[ The dry details ]
- Employment
- Employee. The “one-person company” is about owning your accounts, not about how you get paid.
- Location
- Hybrid — the Tel Aviv office and from wherever you work best.
- Customers
- Israeli SMBs — e-commerce, professional services, trades.
- Stack
- Whatever the job needs. Today that is mostly agents, automation and web.
Hours and pay — we go through those on the first call.
